Polly Samson’s A Theatre for Dreamers debuts music by David Gilmour

Bestselling author Polly Samson and husband David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, have collaborated for the release the audio edition of Samson’s bestselling novel A Theatre for Dreamers.

The library audio edition of A Theatre for Dreamers, released 1st September 2020, includes David Gilmour’s new single, Yes I Have Ghosts. The new song was inspired by a character from the novel and was co-written by Samson. The audiobook, which is narrated by Samson, will also feature Gilmour’s orginal music throughout.

Set on the idyllic Greek island of Hydra in 1960, A Theatre for Dreamers captures the hazy, sun-drenched days of an expat bohemian community of poets, painters, and musicians. In Samson’s fifth work of fiction, the characters live tangled lives that are ruled by their king and queen, writers Charmain Clift and George Johnston.

and is included as part of September’s Clipper 9 Standing Order Plan.
