RBmedia appoints Megan Dobson as the new publisher for its ChristianAudio brand
Landover, MD, December 17, 2019—RBmedia, the largest independent audiobook producer in the world, is pleased to announce that Megan Dobson has joined its ChristianAudio brand as the new publisher. In her new role, Megan will acquire all content for ChristianAudio, manage relationships with partner publishers, agents, and authors in the Christian market and oversee ways to grow this important RBmedia brand.
Prior to joining ChristianAudio, Megan spent nine years at HarperCollins Christian Publishing, most recently as the associate publisher for W Publishing, where she led editorial strategy for Thomas Nelson’s nonfiction trade imprint that has published bestselling authors such as Chip and Joanna Gaines, Dr. David Jeremiah, and Kathie Lee Gifford. Previously, Megan served as the director of mass-market sales for HarperCollins Christian Publishing, collaborating with publishers on content direction and expanding placement for inspirational books in accounts such as Target, Walmart and Costco. Her early career included editorial and marketing roles with nonprofit Stephen Ministries St. Louis.
