TG Reid signs eight-book audio deal with W. F. Howes

W. F. Howes, RBmedia’s UK publishing brand, has acquired the audio rights to the eight books in Scottish crime thriller writer TG Reid’s DCI Bone series.

Senior acquisitions editor Craig Thomson acquired world audiobook rights from Elizabeth Counsell at Northbank Talent.

Dark is the Grave, the first audiobook in the series, will be released in May 2025, with the remaining seven titles to be published shortly after.

Steve Worsley will narrate every book the series, starting with Reid’s debut Dark is the Grave (independently published) and ending with Reid’s forthcoming novel, A Devil’s Share (Glass Work Press).

Reid said: “I am thrilled to be working with the UK’s leading audiobook publisher, and delighted that my DCI Bone Scottish Crime Thriller series will soon be accessible to more listeners across the world through bookshops, libraries, and an extensive selection of streaming platforms.”

Thomson added: “Since the release of his first book in 2021, TG Reid has had readers hooked on his atmospheric, edge-of-your-seat crime mysteries. As the series continues to go from strength-to-strength, it’s a really exciting time to become a part of this success story and to be offering these fantastic audiobook titles to listeners around the world.”
